Saturday, April 28th, 2012, the City of West Sacramento will celebrate our 7th Arbor Day at Bridgeway Lakes Park (Boathouse).
The City will receive recognition as a TREE CITY USA for the sixth consecutive year. The Tree City designation is awarded to cities that demonstrate an excellent maintenance and planting program. The city must also have a City Tree Ordinance, a legal tree governing body, a comprehensive urban forestry program and observance of Arbor Day. The festivities include the planting of five new trees, information tables, and a bounce house for the kids. Admission is free!
