Spay Day 2013: Low Cost Spay Day for Eligible Individuals and Families

Bring your pet to Spay Day 2013.  With spay/neuter your pet could be healthier, wander less and behave better!  Be sure and check with http://www.sacanimal.org/ before purchasing or adopting an animal.

Spay Day Guidelines:
Spay/neuter surgeries will take place on or around Sunday, March 3, 2013
Surgeries will take place at participating veterinary clinics in Sacramento and Yolo counties.

Appointments are Required:
Apply for an appointment online at sacanimal.org. If you don’t have Internet access, visit your local public library. Visit sacanimal.org starting on Saturday, January 19 to
apply for an appointment. Volunteers will begin calling applicants to schedule appointments starting on Saturday, February 2.

Eligibility:
Open only to Sacramento or Yolo County residents who receive public assistance and/or have an annual household income of $35,000 or less. Proof of income is required. Applicants will receive instructions for submitting proof of income when they
complete the online application at sacanimal.org. Limit two pets per household, dogs and cats only.

The cost is $15 per cat and $20 per Dog.  This includes vaccinations, microchip identification with registration, and flea preventive.  This is at least a $250 value!
