Check out IKEA’s “Life Improvement Project”—and vote for West Sacramento’s Club West Teen Programs!

To help IKEA coworkers carry out a vision of creating a better everyday life for the communities where IKEA stores are located, IKEA is providing $10,000 to one team from each of its 38 stores. Winning teams will use the prize money to fund specific local community projects. In West Sacramento, please place a vote for the Club West Project—Club West is an after-school teen program that provides a safe environment for teens to play sports, do homework, and participate in mentoring programs. The $10,000 can provide Club West teens with new study areas, storage for books, art projects
and backpacks. . .plus providing teens with inviting and suitable study areas. . .at all four campuses of Club West.

Anyone can participate online by voting for their favorite proposals, between now and March 11, 2013. The winning projects will be announced on March 15.
