Construction of the Clarksburg Branch Pedestrian and Bike Trail Improvement Project is Underway

The multi-modal project is funded by a Congestion Mitigation and Air Quality (CMAQ) improvement federal grant and generally comprise of the following components:

 

 

  • Main trail will be improved with a paved 10-ft wide pathway and a 4-ft wide aggregate base shoulder to the east
  • Five connector trails to:

o   Stonegate Drive

o   Southport Town Center

o   Trinity Way

o   River City High School / City Recreation Center

o   Cherokee Road

  • ADA compliant upgrades to existing concrete flatwork and installation of signage, striping, pavement markings and other related improvements.
