Free Shade Tree Workshop, Jan. 8 at the Community Center

The West Sacramento Tree Program is a comprehensive municipal urban forestry program which has become a regional model for tree education, planting and care.

Urban trees provide benefits that are fundamental to the city’s liveability—qualities such as clean air and water, cooler streets and homes, beauty and wildlife habitat.

The City provides free shade trees to residents, businesses, schools, churches and non-profit organizations. . .but first, you must attend a free shade tree workshop to learn about tree planning and care.
