Global company, Bayer AG, has opened a 10 acre site in West Sacramento’s Riverside Center. Bayer CropScience, Bayer AG’s research and development subsidiary specializing in agricultural business, points to West Sacramento as the key component to long term development in North America.

The new West Sacramento site will serve as the global headquarters of Bayer CropScience Biologics Business with the capacity to accommodate up to 300 employees. The location features a 100,000 square foot building, a 35,000 square foot pilot plant to develop biological crop protection products, a 30,000 square foot Vegetable Seeds research building, and a 2,000 square foot greenhouse. The site will also provide five acres for future greenhouse space.
