The City of West Sacramento has designated eight locations where Safe and Sanefireworks can be purchased for the 4th of July.
As outlined in the West Sacramento Fireworks Ordinance, Safe and Sane fireworks can be sold starting at noon on June 28, 2015 through July 4.
According to the West Sacramento Fire Department, use of Safe and Sane fireworks has significantly limited the number of fireworks related incidents over the past four years.
Non-profit groups operate the fireworks stands to raise money for their organizations.
