Bill Lowell Remembered by City Council

Longtime City Council meeting attendee Bill “for the record” Lowell was memorialized on November 18, during a ceremony in which “his” chair in the Chambers was dedicated in recognition of his contributions to the City of West Sacramento. Lowell was a frequent speaker, taking the podium to comment on a variety of issues including public transit, local restaurant options, accessible buildings, and retail shopping choices.

The City added posters honoring Bill at the bus stops on West Capitol Ave. and Jefferson Blvd. The Council also directed staff to work with the Yolo County Transportation District on potentially naming a bus stop after Mr. Lowell.
