Ship From China Docks in West Sacramento on Maiden Voyage

The ship African Merlin pulled into the Port of West Sacramento this week with a cargo of bulk cement from China, making the Port of West Sacramento its very first stop. The 500 foot long ship was made in Japan then sailed to China to pick up its cargo arriving at the Port after 14 days at sea. 27 tons of bulk cement is currently being offloaded for distribution to construction projects throughout Northern California.
