Wonder what’s going on in Pioneer Bluff? Here’s your chance.
A public open house and tour of a portion of the Stone Lock facility is scheduled for July 18th from 6:00 pm to 6:45 pm.
Revisioning the historic former locks facility is part of the Pioneer Bluff Reuse Master Plan.
The tour will inform the public about this facility’s unique history, the role it plays in the city’s flood protection system, and how its reuse fits into the city’s riverfront trail system.
Feedback gathered at this open house will be presented immediately following at a joint commission meeting of the Parks, Recreation and Intergenerational and Arts, Culture and Historic presentation commissions. Stone Lock Calendar Entry
