19 Students Complete City Summer Internship Program

The 2016 Summer STEPS (Strides Toward Entering Public Service)  Internship Program came to an end today with a digital badge ceremony at City Hall. The LRNG platform badges are proof the interns completed a series of challenging tasks for their assigned department.

19 students from the West Sacramento region got an inside look about  how city governments work during the eight week program. The hands-on knowledge and skills received will help them excel academically and in their careers.
