For the 2nd year in a row a booth created in part by the City of West Sacramento Environmental Services Division won first place at the The Yolo County Fair.
The winning booth featured a timeline illustrating recycling program changes over the past 80 years and an interactive display that showed the 80 year lifecycle for materials that are either recycled or from landfills. The booth also provided fair goers with information about recycling programs and services offered in each Yolo County jurisdiction. Special thanks to West Sacramento’s Graphic Artist Clyde Pabro and Recycling Coordinators from Woodland, Davis, Winters and Yolo County.
The fair provided each entry with the criteria used to judge the booths. Some of the criteria included points labeling, being informative and educational, use of lighting and space, and the relationship to the fair theme, 80 years of Yolo County Fair Fun.
