Urban Ag Expands to Farm at the Barn

West Sacramento’s urban farm network is expanding to The Barn!  The announcement was made at a news conference by the Center For Land-Based Learning, the City of West Sacramento, Raley’s, and Fulcum Property.

This is the 5th urban farm in the City. Some of the produce grown at the Barn will be go to Raley’s Food for Families program. The one-acre site will also supply vegetables to Drakes Brewing Company, operator of the soon-to be completed restaurant at The Barn. There are also plans for a farm stand on-site to sell fresh produce to the public.
