SURVEY: Take The First Steps Toward Improving Bryte Park

bryte-parkThe City of West Sacramento is considering applying for $1 million in grant funding for youth soccer and recreation facility improvements at Bryte Park and needs your input!

The Bryte Park Master Plan was completed in 2013 with significant community input to help prioritize improvements to the park.  Since then, multiple projects have been or will soon be completed, including: a new Disney KaBoom! play structure, on-site parking, lighting, landscaping, new restrooms, a covered BBQ and picnic area, road crossing improvements and potentially one new basketball court.

Proposed improvements that would be funded with the grant include:

  • Multiple new soccer fields for use by all age groups;
  • Two new basketball courts located on the east side of the park (away from residences); and
  • Turf replacement with water conserving hybrid Bermuda.
