Join your neighbors and co-workers in bicycling for work, school, shopping, recreation, or training this May during the Sacramento region’s annual May is Bike Month campaign.
Bicycling offers many benefits to personal health and promotes healthy communities as a whole. Avoid traffic congestion, save money on gas, help reduce air pollution, and enjoy the beautiful May weather.
Throughout the month, there will be weekly prize drawings; individual, group and employer challenges; rallies; awards; safety clinics and organized rides.
Participate by pledging trips and miles here. Ride your bike for any reason and then log those trips and miles on the website to earn virtual badges and a chance to win prizes!
Challenge your friends and colleagues to a contest on Facebook or by email. Or challenge yourself to ditch your car and ride your bicycle to all your destinations.
