WSPD Boxing Camp a Big Hit with Kids

30 students participated in a week long boxing camp over spring break, where they were awarded medals for their accomplishments. The camp was organized by the West Sacramento Police Department for students in the Washington Unified School District.

This was an opportunity for the officers/coaches to directly connect and share life tools with participants. The kids were excited and enjoyed many of the activities including dodge ball, boxing, self-defense techniques, physical education, mentoring, a K-9 demo, and Muay Thai kickboxing.
