Summer STEPS (Strides Towards Entering Public Service) Student Internship Program:

The City of West Sacramento is offering a paid student summer internship program to provide students with practical work experience related to their academic major. High school juniors and seniors at least 16 years of age are welcome, along with incoming college students, current college students, and students pursuing graduate degrees.

The eight-week internship gives students positive examples of public service, hands on experience, and insights into how city governments are run.
