West Sacramento Breaks Ground on $20 Million Levee Improvement Projects

MAYOR ANNOUNCES NEW LEVEE CONSTRUCTION IN WEST SACRAMENTO—Two levee improvement projects are getting underway in West Sacramento. The two levee segments are located along the Sacramento Bypass and the Sacramento River North Levee, adjacent to the California Highway Patrol Academy and The Rivers residential area. The improvements are expected to be completed by December. Mayor Christopher Cabaldon, pictured, thanked the community for its ongoing support of levee improvements in West Sacramento.
