Helping Local Businesses Get Started; Free Thursday Workshops, 5:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m.

Looking for business success? Starting out? Already running? Seeking Financing? Help is available for qualified start-up and existing business owners in West Sacramento.

The City of West Sacramento, in association with Opening Doors, Inc. and the Greater Sacramento/Sierra Small Business Development Center, is providing FREE workshops and individual business counseling to low-income persons who reside or operate a business in West Sacramento. The program offers small loans (of up to $50,000) to qualified applicants. Classes are held on five consecutive Thursday evenings, beginning Oct. 18, from 5:30-8:30 at the River Room of the West Sacramento Community Center, 1075 West Capitol Ave., West Sacramento 95691.
