Energy Efficiency Rebate Program

While funding lasts, the City of West Sacramento is offering a matching residential rebate program for energy efficiency improvements and appliances for West Sacramento residents.  Matching rebates will be available for installing new energy-efficient water heaters, heating and cooling systems (HVAC), insulation and/or energy-efficient windows or weather-stripping.  Matching rebates will also be honored for installing new energy-efficient appliances such as refrigerators, clothes washers and dryers, and dishwashers. The Energy Efficiency matching rebate will not exceed $500 per household. To receive a matching rebate, residents will be required to:

1. Complete a simple rebate application no later than Aug. 23, 2013;

2. Provide proof of purchase of the energy-efficient improvement or appliance;

3. Provide proof of installation, if applicable; and

4. Provide a copy of the rebate application.  All energy-efficiency rebate
applications for 2013 will be considered until funding is exhausted or Aug. 23,
2013, whichever comes first.

Submit the application and supporting documentation at the Building Permit counter, City Hall, 1110 West Capitol Avenue, 2nd floor.

Incomplete applications will not be honored.  City staff and equipment are not available for producing copies for applicants.  Applications are available by calling (916) 617-4590 or visiting www.WestSacRecycles.org.  A printable application will be available under “Highlights”.
