Upcoming Workshop Uncovers the Key to Writing History

Have you ever wanted to write your life story but did not know where to begin? Do you want to write your family history for future generations but are unsure of how to document what is relevant? Do you have family stories that you think would make a great novel?

Bernard Selling has been teaching life writing workshops for over 25 years and he’ll be appearing at a hands-on writing workshop in West Sacramento, Saturday, May 18, 9 a.m.-noon at the Community Center, 1075 West Capitol Ave., West Sacramento 95691.

The workshop is sponsored by the West Sacramento Historical Society (WSHS) and the California State Parks’ California Indian Heritage Center.

Mr. Selling walks participants through his step-by-step writing process. This is the workshop for anyone who has ever wanted to write!

Space is limited; payment is required to hold your spot. Workshop cost is $30 ($25 for WSHS members), and the cost includes the “Writing from
