Volunteers Needed Saturday, May 11, for “Stamp Out Hunger” Effort

In support of Food Bank Yolo County, the National Association of Letter Carriers (NALC) is collecting non-perishable food items from postal customers Saturday in a nationwide effort to help “Stamp Out Hunger.” Food items will then be sorted and distributed to hungry families.

NALC would like to get assistance from local volunteers to help sort food donations into barrels, Saturday, May 11, 11:30 a.m.-4 p.m. Volunteers would be assisting at the Post Office, 1601 Merkley Ave. in West Sacramento.
