Civic Leadership Awards 2013

Below are the Civic Leadership awards photos from the May 16, 2013 West Sacramento State of the City program.

PRIDE OF BRODERICK – During the State of the City program, the Broderick Roadhouse was honored with the “Mayor’s Civic Leadership Award for Pride.” Pictured, Karen Ziebron, representing California Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg; Nathan Dietrich, 6th District Director for Rep. Doris Matsui; and the Broderick Roadhouse team, Chris Jarosz, Steve Hamm and Matt Chong; (in background) Roger Dickinson, California State Assembly, 7th District; Mayor Christopher Cabaldon and Councilmember Oscar Villegas. Mr. Villegas announced the Pride award, presented to Broderick Roadhouse.

 

FOOD ACTION PROSPERITY HONORED BY CITY – The work of the City’s Food Action Team has brought attention to West Sacramento’s status as a food hub, earning the team the “Mayor’s Civic Leadership Award for Prosperity.” Present at the award presentation, left to right: Karen Ziebron, representing California Senate President Pro Tem Darrell Steinberg; Mayor Christopher Cabaldon; Food Action Team member Ernesto Lucero; Nathan Dietrich, 6th District Director for Rep. SANDEEN SALUTED FOR SERVICE – West Sacramento’s Beverly “Babs” Sandeen was presented with the “Mayor’s Civic Leadership Award for Service,” during the State of the City program.
