Fraud Awareness Fair, Oct. 16

Ever wonder when or why to call about suspicious offers or sales pitches? Or even who to call? The Yolo County District Attorney presents the 6th Annual Fraud Awareness Fair, Wednesday, Oct. 16, 10 a.m.-2 p.m., the West Sacramento City Hall Galleria, 1110 West Capitol Ave. The free admission public event brings agencies together with banks, technology companies, and consumer organizations. Information tables, exhibits, and Q&A opportunities. The event raises public awareness of fraudulent schemes and activities occurring in the region. . Senior citizens are especially encouraged to attend. Remember, admission is free! Optional lunch available: Wicked West Pizza & BBQ provides lunch choices for $10 per person.
