New Address for West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce

The West Sacramento Chamber of Commerce has relocated to a new office suite at 1401 Halyard Dr., Suite 120 in West Sacramento. The Chamber’s new home, with nearly 2,000 square feet, has space for Chamber staff to conduct activities supporting its 400 business members.

“It’s bittersweet to be moving from our Merkley and Jefferson location,” said Chamber CEO Denice Seals. “Arthur Turner was a charter member of the chamber 67 years ago and the Turner family and their company, the West Sacramento Land Company, has nurtured the chamber through thick and thin. We’ve had our office in their building for about 50 years—we couldn’t have done it without them.”

The chamber offers many benefits to its members including an active Economic and Government Affairs Forum to discuss business issues and take formal positions, when needed. The issues are on a local, regional or statewide level and can include regulatory, fee structures, building and zoning issues, general plan, and proposed legislation.

The Chamber of Commerce operates West Sacramento’s prominent Farmers Market, which moved to the City’s Civic Center on West Capitol Avenue between June and September this year.

“I hope all our members come by and see us and potential new members, too,” said Seals. “We have some exciting new things up our sleeves.”
