Clarksburg Branch Pedestrian and Bike Trail Improvement Project

The Clarksburg Branch Pedestrian and Bike Trail Improvement Project has been designed and  approved for construction by the city council. Beginning next week or the following week construction will begin on the trail. The limit of work begins at South River Road and ends at  an access road at Cherokee Road south of River City High school.

The project generally consists of the following components: Construction of a Class 1 bicycle/pedestrian trail by asphalt paving an existing trail. The installation of access trails, side walk, curb ramps and installation of signage, striping, pavement markings and other related improvements.

The estimated time for the project will be 30-45 day completion, however it will be occurring during the winter months and weather will be a factor in the completion of the trail.
