Caltrans Construction Work on Highway 50 in West Sacramento – Friday, Sept. 19-Monday, Sept. 22


Caltrans is performing work in the eastbound direction on West Sacramento’s Pioneer Bridge/US 50 and associated ramps and I-5 connectors, beginning at 10 p.m., Friday, Sept. 19 through 5 a.m., Monday, Sept. 22. Motorists can expect up to 30-minute delays travelling through the work zone. Therefore, motorists are encouraged to use alternate routes.

In addition, work crews are performing night time only work in the westbound direction of the Pioneer Bridge/US 50 Friday, Sept. 19, Saturday, Sept. 20, and Sunday, Sept. 21, only between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Look for detour signs to guide motorists through the work zone.

“All Decked Out”
Caltrans is working to improve bridge decks on US 50 and I-5 along the Sacramento River in West Sacramento and Sacramento. The project is called “Sac Decked Out.” For more information on alternative routes for the Sac Decked Out project, go to http://sacdeckedout.com .
